"What Makes Your Brand Special?"

Pathos Fam, Chris here - wanted to share some thoughts on this beautiful, sunny, Wednesday afternoon. 

Some of you may know that I work professionally in the music industry in addition to owning and operating this clothing company. I am fortunate to get to work with many high level (and high intensity) people every day that are always curious as to what I'm doing outside of working in music.

However, when I tell people about Pathos of Things as a clothing brand and send them the link, I can't help but feel like I'm not explaining the full picture. Everyone and their dog has a Shopify store in Los Angeles. There are also so many new (and old) anime inspired streetwear brands. 

So naturally, I'm always anxious about what I can be doing to be the next "cool" and innovative brand.

My focus for the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022 is CONTENT, CONTENT, CONTENT! 

More collabs with influencers, more giveaways, more seasonal sales, more t-shirt drops, a full e-lookbook, "how to style" guides for all seasons, merch drops/collabs with musicians, and so much more.

One thing I'm blessed with each day is the motivation and time to paint a full picture. The Pathos website is just a canvas and the collaborations I do with other artists makeup the metaphorical paint. 


I'm not just trying to sell clothes. I'm trying to tell stories. I want to give artists and musicians a platform to tell their story. I want to see rappers and bands wearing PATHOS logos all over their clothes on stage while raging in front of 20,000 people. 

This is not a clothing company side hustle to bring in more cash to spend on the weekends or to upgrade the superficial and material aspects of my life. The goal has always been (and always will be) to bridge the gaps between music, animation, and streetwear.
